Theatre and Music muuseum reopened the doors
The Theatre and Music Museum is located in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town of Tallinn, in a unique historic building connected to the medieval city wall. The most distinctive part of the building is the Assauwe Tower, a medieval city wall tower over 600 years old. The museum was opened here for visitors in 1934, initially using only the lowest part of the tower. Today, visitors can explore all floors of the tower.
The museum officially began on March 22, 1924, when the Peeter Süda Mälestuse Jäädvuste Ühing was registered to preserve the legacy of the late composer and organist.
